The premises are available to you for holiday purposes only for the period stated on the booking confirmation.
There can be a maximum of 8 people on the property at any one time, including children and babies.
The property is available from 2pm on your arrival day and is to be vacated by 10am on your departure day, unless other arrangements have been made and agreed upon by the owner. If the premises are occupied past the given times, an extra change may apply. Minimum fee half day charge of the Nightly Rate. (Nightly Rate is: $150)
The individual booking the property is responsible for ensuring that all guests have read and understand the booking terms and any specific care instructions posted at the property.
The individual booking the property must be staying at the property for the duration of the booking unless otherwise agreed with the Owners.
On vacating, the premises are to be closed and the keys are to be left on the main bench.
Full and final payment must be made 14 days prior to your arrival date.
Deposit amount is 50% of the Total Rental Amount, plus a $200 Security Deposit.
Payment of the above deposit amount is required in order to secure your booking.
As we use a booking agent, a remittance/confirmation email containing the deposit receipt number (remittance)
MUST
be received to stay@ourwhitewave.com within 7 days of payment details being provided in order to secure your booking.
Deposits paid where remittance has not been provided via email, and the premises is no longer available, will be fully refunded.
Bookings made less than 14 days prior to your arrival date must be paid in full to confirm your booking request.
If for any reason your payment is not received by the due date we reserve the right to cancel your booking and apply appropriate cancellation charges.
In the event that you cancel your booking, for whatever reason, any monies paid are non-refundable unless the premises are rebooked by ourselves or a third party at not less than the rate at which you have made the booking. The Owner reserves the right to apply this condition at its discretion. A change of dates may be considered a cancellation.
Notwithstanding the above, a cancellation fee of 10% of all monies paid (plus credit card charges if applicable) will apply to all cancelled bookings. Minimum fee $50.00.
NO PETS ALLOWED (This applies to the enitre Island)
The Owner does not cover your personal belongings under their insurance policy and therefore take no responsibility for any loss or damage of personal belongs in or on the property, we strongly recommend you purchase Travel Insurance.
Notification of any breakages, loss, damages or maintenance must be reported to the Owner immediately.
The Owner will accept no responsibility for any inconvenience with machinery breakdown. The Owners's best endeavours to repair, replace or source an alternative will be undertaken.
The Security Deposit is fully refundable with the exception of the following conditions:
Additional cleaning costs will be deducted from the security deposit at the discretion of the Owner.
Any repair costs for damage to the property by the guest will be deducted from the security deposit at the discretion of the Owner.
Costs to replace lost keys will be deducted from the security deposit at the discretion of the Owner.
Extraordinary consumption of water, electricity and gas may incur a charge deducted from the security deposit at the discretion of the Owner. If you would like more information, please contact us.
As the property operates on solar power, with tank water and a septic system, we are unable to cater for additional invited guests who are not staying at the property. Additional charges may be deducted from the security deposit if non staying guests are invited to the property.
Notwithstanding the above conditions, The Owner, at their discretion, retains the right to claim full compensation from the guest for costs to repair damage to the property by the guest or invitees.
Occupants are required to ensure the premises is clean and tidy upon departure. All dishes must be washed and dried and all furniture must be replaced to its original position. Additional charges may be deducted from your security deposit if the property is left in an untidy state.
Note that bedroom configurations cannot be altered.
Occupants are required to take all rubbish away upon departure. Additional charges may be deducted from your security deposit to cover the cost of rubbish disposal.
The Owner has the right, at their discretion, to inspect the property during occupation if they believe the property may have been mistreated or specific care instructions not followed. It is the responsibility of the individual making the booking to ensure that all guests understand and follow the specific care instructions.
The Owner has the right, at their discretion, to refuse access to the property if booking conditions have been breeched.
